John A. Masson, M.D., FCCP

Dr. Masson moved to Clearwater from New Orleans to join Bay Area Chest Physicians in June of 2002. He trained in Pulmonary/Critical Care at Louisiana State University Health Science Center at New Orleans. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. He lives in Safety Harbor with his wife Jennifer and their sons Matthew and Dominic.

Daniel A. Orlando, III, M.D., FCCP

Dr. Dan Orlando specializes in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. He is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine Received Bachelors degree and Medical degree at the University of Kansas. Completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine, as well as fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of South Florida. He has been in practice locally with Bay Area Chest Physicians since 2004. Is the Director of the Largo Laboratory for Sleep Medicine. He is on staff at Morton Plant Hospital. Is an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida School of Medicine. He has given presentations at international conferences and has had publication of articles in medical journals. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, Society of Critical Care Medicine, and American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He lives in Crystal Beach with his wife Jennifer, son Nicholas and daughter Allison.

Eli Gavi, M.D., FCCP

Dr. Gavi joined Bay Area Chest Physicians in July 2008 after completing his Pulmonary and Critical Care training at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. He received his medical degree from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine.

Shea M. Eckardt, M.D., MPT, FCCP

Dr. Eckardt completed his undergraduate and physical therapy training at the Universities of Maryland in 1997. After practicing for 3 years as a physical therapist, he returned to training and completed his medical degree at St. George’s University. Dr. Eckardt then completed his post-graduate residency / fellowship in internal medicine, pulmonary, and critical care at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He joined Bay Area Chest Physicians in July 2010. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. He lives in Belleair with his wife Jennifer and their three children Anna, Schafer, and Olivia.

Alfonso Castro, M.D.

Dr. Castro completed his undergraduate training in 1999 and his medical training in 2003 at the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Castro completed his post-graduate fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at University of South Florida, Tampa FL in 2013, his Internal Medicine residency at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Chicago, IL in 2009, his General Surgery Residency at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ in 2005. Dr Castro joined Bay Area Chest Physicians in 2013. He is board certified in Internal, Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.

Joseph Romero, D.O.

Dr. Romero completed his medical training in 2008 at the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Romero then completed in 2011 his post-graduate Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida.  He completed 2014 his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He joined Bay Area Chest Physicians in 2014. He is board certified in Internal, Pulmonary, and, Critical Care Medicine.

Jeramy Mosburg, D.O.

Dr. Mosburg completed his undergraduate training in 1999 at the Southwestern State University, Weatherford, OK. He obtained his medical training in 2003 at the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK. Dr. Mosburg then completed in 2006 his residency in Internal Medicine at Texas A & M/Scott and White Memorial Hospital, Temple, TX. He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in 2009 at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C. He joined Bay Area Chest Physicians in 2016. He is board certified in Internal, Pulmonary, Critical Care Medicine.

Lucas Mikulic, M.D.

Dr. Mikulic obtained his medical training in 2003 at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dr. Mikulic then completed in 2008 his residency in Internal Medicine at Northshore Medical Center Salem Hospital, Salem, MA.  He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in 2016 at University of Vermont, Burlington, VT. He joined Bay Area Chest Physicians in 2016. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Board Elegible in Critical Care Medicine.

Kenneth Cerreta III, M.D.

Dr. Cerreta completed his medical training in 2011 at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. 
Dr. Cerreta  completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Tulane Hospital in New Orleans, LA in 2014, and Pulmonary-Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Utah in 2017.  He joined Bay Area Chest Physicians in 2017.  He is board certified in Internal, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine.

Sanjiva Lutchmedial.

Dr. Lutchmedial completed his Medical training in 2005 at the University of  West Indies, Trinidad. He then Completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at Virginia Tech Carilion Medical School in Roanoke, VA in 2011. Following this, he completed  Fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Vermont in 2014.
Dr Lutchmedial Joined Bay Area Chest Physicians in 2018, he is Board Certified in Internal, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

Deborah Mattson, MS, PA-C

Deborah Mattson, MS, PA-C – Physician Assistant obtained and completed her undergraduate and Physician Assistant training in 1994 at the University of Detroit-Mercy, Detroit, MI. She holds numerous years of Physician Assistant experience in the Emergency medicine in the area of healthcare. Deborah joined Bay Area Chest Physicians in 2016.
